Homefront Review

Homefront is a first person shooter that takes place in the very near distant future. North Korea invades the US in a nut shell and here are we are, Homefront. The game is very interesting as it has a great single player campaign. The wide array of weapons and attachments make every first person shooter fan have their ways with this title. The campaign is told to be over quick, I do not see that as how I am only about an hour into the campaign. The game offers a lot of new cool ideas such as remote control tanks (LARGE SCALE). Remember when you first played Frontlines Fuel of War? Remember the small remote control cars and jets you got? Well picture that LARGE SCALE! The game is very fun and can keep the attention of any FPS fan. The graphics engine lacks some, the graphics are no Call of Duty by any means but does offer some good pictures and some decent looking textures. The dialog is very Korean like, as you will spend most of the game asking yourself What did he say? The multiplayer does need some tune up. THQ is suppose to have more servers operational soon. I witnessed some lag between shooting within the game. I also realized they tried to combine pretty much Call of Duty and Battlefield into one game as far as online multiplayer goes, but missed the target slightly. So finally what can I say about this title? If you are a FPS fan try it! It will keep you interested all the way to the end. Just don’t expect Call of Duty guys.
Gameplay Score:  8
